Adventure!

Hello all!! Here goes the adventures of the week past...
1. We had a FHE with a family in the ward and we had the lesson then Sister Beazer was talking to the mom because they are both from Canada and I was playing with the kids. A 7 and 4 year old... umm I got Karate Chopped like 20 times lol it was SO fun! But don't worry I was in the same room with both parents and companion.
2. A older couple that we teach... I just LOVE them! I feel like I am going to Grandmas house every time we go. She always has a little something for us and just LOVES to talk about the gospel. Its GREAT!
3. We got to do service this week! We gardened like 4-5 hours this week! Like SERIOUS weeds EVERYWHERE! We might go back to actually plant...
4. We had a meeting with President Pike this week we learned a few things like...
5. We get to go to the Temple on April 12th!! I'm REALLY excited! And...
6. L.Tom Perry is coming!! The LA and Arcadia missions will be coming together to have a meeting with him! What a blessing!! I'm SUPER stoked!!
7. We went to a Assisted living home for Sister Beazer to play piano... WOW! I think I needed it more than the people there. They loved it but I forget how much music soothes the soul. It was GREAT!
8. It has been raining a LOT here! I keep thinking I'm back in WA but then I just realize I am happier to be working in rain than 120 degree weather
9. I found a quote I LOVE out of "Our Search for Happiness" It is... "An interesting things happens whenever you attempt to place your feet in Christ's footsteps. If you really concentrate on trying to walk the way He walked-loving, caring, serving, and obeying each step of the way-one day you'll look up and discover that his path had led you directly to the throne of God. For that is and ever has been his great purpose and mission: to lead us to our Heavenly Father so we can dwell with Him in His heavenly home." How comforting... Now we just need to walk that way... the hard part :]
10. The work is still hard... but we are trying and working with a few less actives to help bring them back which is GREAT! I LOVE being a missionary!

LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TONS!!
